This journal outlines why and how an organization must consider extending itself beyond its walls to maintain a competitive edge in the market – regardless of their industry.

Volume 2, Number 3 - Governance and Strategy This issue contains strategic research and leadership know-how from industry experts, CIOs, academics and researchers focused on business technology governance, along with an executive agenda that highlights what is needed to gain a strategic perspective that enables risk mitigation and value delivery, ultimately through convergence, to establish oversight of all initiatives. This journal outlines why and how an organization can greatly improve visibility and decision-making processes for its technology investments at both a strategic and tactical level.

Volume 2, Number 2 - Strategic Investment Management This issue contains strategic research and leadership know-how from industry experts, CFOs, CTOs and CIOs from both the public and private sector focused on managing technology investments, along with an executive agenda that highlights what is needed to build a business-driven technology strategy as a basis for such investments. This journal outlines why and how an organization must improve its ability to identify and continuously manage business technology investments in order to make truly strategic technology investments. Simultaneously, it underlines that selecting investment levels and strategically balancing budget dollar allocation among different technology portfolios adds a new dimension to developing an enterprise’s business strategy.

Innovation is not the invention of a new technology that matters as much as it is its application -- understanding its role when developing a strategy, or designing an organization and its processes.
